These are the best characters in LoH, the Tier SS for PvP and also for PvE:

Nine – Element: Earth, Class: Striker, Tier SS in PvP and also PvE
Aslan – Element: Earth, Class: Warrior, Tier SS in PvP and also PvE
Krom – Element: Fire, Class: Warrior, Tier SS in PvP and also PvE

How to get Heroes?

You can get or recruit new heroes with:

Crystals: farm crystals from feast missions, hall of trials, coliseum and also story missions
Renown Currency: farm renown currency from battles
Hero contracts: farm hero contracts just playing

Hero Classes

There are 6 classes, and each class work like in most rol games:

Guardian: high Defense and also HP, is like a tank in other games
Warrior: high Defense and also Damage
Striker: Highest Damage
Sniper: High Damage from long distance
Cleric: Provides buffs to allies and also debuffs to enemies, is like the support class

Tip: Use at least 1 striker, 1 guardian and also 1 cleric

Hero Elements

Each element is strong against certain element but weak against another one, this is the logic:

Fire (red): strong against Earth (green) but weak against Water (blue)
Earth (green): strong against Water (blue) but weak against Fire (red)
Water (blue): strong against Fire (red) but weak against Earth (green)
Light: strong against Dark
Dark: strong against Light

Lord of Heroes Guide – Improve your Heroes

Level Up Heroes

To raise a hero’s level you need Exp. Line up them in your team and play to get exp, but you can also use Elixir of Insight or Exp bottles. You can farm both items in story mode stages, expeditions and also hall of exp

Promote Heroes

Farm the promoting materials you need by repeating stages, you can check the reward before playing. Find where you can find the material you need (square stones, triangular stones, round stones or promotion agate) and repeat this stage until you get enough. Of course at higher level stages you will find better rewards. But take in mind that Crystals and Renown can’t be farmed this way because there are first time clear rewards

Ascend Heroes

To Ascend a hero tap its class icon, you will need runes (colorless runes, fire runes, water runes, earth runes, light runes, dark runes…) get them from the primeval halls

Upgrading skills

You need soulstones according to the hero’s element (fire, water, earth, light, dark or mystic)

Best equipment

Autoequip the best available gears to the hero, to get better equipment:

Crafting: Obtain crafting materials from the hall of trials or dismantling
Alchemy: Spend crystals
Farming equipment: Story mode, expedition, hall of trials and also music ship

Equipment bonus

If you equip a hero with same set equipment, you will get powerful bonuses. You can check the set of each gear by tapping on the gear

Upgrading equipment

Don’t waste time and resources upgrading low tier equipment, upgrade gears only when you can’t upgrade anything else

Crystal: Story stages, chapter quest, feast missions, primeval halls, hall of trais, elemental halls, and also hall of darkness, coliseum mode
Gold: Story stages, feast missions, chapter quests, and also hall of treasure
Equipment: Hall of trails, crafting, story quests, expedition and also mystic shop
Elixir: Hall of exp, story mode, feast missions, chapter quests, expedition
Renown: Story Missions
Crafting materials: hall of trials or also dismantling
Promotion material: Story mode
Mystic stone: Raise the level of the primeval hall
